Dynamics of Coupled Oscillator Networks
Centre for Mathematical Science, Lund University Sweden
Synchronization dynamics plays an important role in coupled oscillator networks in biology and technology. This project aims at advancing the theory of complex networks of coupled oscillators (and neurons), based on dynamical systems theory, graph theory, and dimensional reduction methods.
Research will include the dynamics of the underlying graph and its interaction with oscillator nodes. Such co-evolutionary dynamics plays an important role in neural plasticity/learning in the brain, and theoretical findings promise potential applications in neuro-science, biomedicine, and the theory of AI.
